Last week, our Escape4Health team (Panagiotis Antoniou, Maria Nikolaidou & Dr. Eleni Dafli) led by our Lab Director, Prof. Panagiotis Bamidis, had an amazing time at AMEE2023 in Glasgow, presenting this groundbreaking project!

They hosted a workshop, a symposium, and the project's 6th transnational meeting. It was a smashing success, thanks to the International Association for Medical Education - AMEE for hosting us!

Today was an exciting day for our Lab as we hosted a highly productive bilateral meeting for the groundbreaking ManagiDiTh project!

The meeting brought together Dimitris Alchatzidis from Université Gustave Eiffel / ESIEE Paris and our dedicated AUTH team (Prof. Panagiotis Bamidis, Maria Nikolaidou, Constantinos Diamantis, Savvas Anastasiadis, Vicky Kalfa, Vasiliki Pavlidou). The atmosphere was charged with excitement as we delved into the progress of the project and engaged in fruitful discussions to address challenges and pave the way for future milestones.

Στο πλαίσιο του εορτασμού της «Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας κατά του καπνίσματος», η  οποία με απόφαση που έλαβε ο Παγκόσμιος Οργανισμός Υγείας το 1988, γιορτάζεται κάθε χρόνο στις 31 Μαΐου, το Εργαστήριο Ιατρικής Φυσικής του Τμήματος Ιατρικής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ) στέλνει το δικό του μήνυμα για τη διακοπή του καπνίσματος, έχοντας τον ρόλο του Συντονιστή του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος “SmokeFreeBrain” (Horizon2020) που ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία πριν ένα περίπου χρόνο.

The Medical Physics Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, WAVES Erasmus+ project partner, welcomes the WAVES network initiative to hold an event, this October, in London, to explore the uses and benefits of using Scenario-based learning for teaching and training. The event will showcase some examples of how Business and Higher Education have utilized a specific type of scenario-based learning called Virtual Scenarios.

Lucia Pannese, "Health Games on the Move: An overview on state of the art in European games for health"

The aim of this special issue is to bring together results stemming from research of education experts, medical teachers, medical informaticians and engineers, academics and health professionals in order to provide a contemporary snapshot of emerging themes when it comes to transforming and modernising medical curricula. Emphasis is placed upon how new methods of evolving pedagogies, such as scenario-based learning and problem based learning and virtual patients, may be used as vehicles to drive curricular changes in medical teaching institutions.

The ΄΄2015 International Conference on Interactive Mobile Communication Technologies and Learning (IMCL)΄΄ was successfully completed on Saturday , 21/11/2015.

The Medical Physics Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki participated in the IMCL 2015, with the organisation of a Special Session called ΄΄Mobile Health Care and Training (MHCT)΄΄, chaired by Prof. Panagiotis Bamidis, where members of the Lab presented their research.
