Netcompany-Intrasoft and AUTH iMedPhys, as a sub-contractor & scientific partner, have undertaken the design and development of a European application as part of cancer prevention actions (HADEA/2022/OP/0004 Service Contract to Design, Develop, Pilot and Deliver an ‘EU Mobile App for Cancer Prevention’). It is a socially oriented project that is estimated to have a significant impact on European citizens. The project will have a wide range, will be communicated throughout Europe, and will focus on cancer prevention. The mobile app that is going to be developed will focus on informing, preventing, and reducing the chances of cancer, improving access to information for the general population. The goal is to educate the European citizens about the importance of cancer prevention through a free of cost, interactive and user-friendly application that will be based on the 12 pillars of the European Code Against Cancer and will be available in all 24 European languages.
